Ferrari, Road Cars

Barn-find Ferrari’s are the stuff that carguy dreams are made of. We decided not to post this one the other day but now we’ve changed our minds. Said Ferrari has made its way around the internet the past few days but we know some of our readers haven’t seen it and will find it interesting. So, here it is, a 1965 Ferrari 330GT 2+2 Series II, stored for 27 years, still with the original California Black Plate. You can find this rare example in Ventura, CA bidding is up to $46,522.22 with Reserve Not Met. …Read More »

We know, yes… a lot of Mustang’s lately. What can we say, we love them. This car is pretty straight forward, Red/Black with some Shelby bits, the reason we posted it here is the price, $15,000. It wasn’t long ago that bare Mustang fastback shells were selling for that money and if this car is as nice as it looks in pictures, it may be a great deal. …Read More »

Race Cars, Sunbeam

If you’ve been looking for a fully prepped B Production vintage racer at a reasonable price, this Sunbeam may be a good option. At an asking price of $55,000 this Tiger is probably one of the most cost effective ways to get out and run with Shelby Mustangs and Cobras while not worrying quite as much about your wallet. This car has a long list of events it’s previously competed in, literally dozens of events on the West Coast from Thunderhill down to Coronado over the past 10 years. We often prefer a car that’s been driven and used, especially if the new owner plans to use it, as hopefully a lot of the bugs are already worked out. …Read More »

Race Cars, Shelby
Another one for the Mustang/Shelby guys out there. We featured a very nice G.T. 350 Tribute street car that sold very quickly a few weeks ago. This is a similar car except this one is track prepped. If you’re looking to run HSR, SVRA or even some of the classes in NASA or SCCA, this may be a great car to look into. But act quickly, as the seller (Gayle) told us she’s had quite a few calls since she posted the car up for her father. …Read More »

Austin Healey, Race Cars

Here’s an opportunity to purchase a documented car with race history from the 1965 12 hours of Sebring. For those of you who don’t know the 12 Hours of Sebring, you can read more here and find some interesting tidbits and results here. Importantly, the track was originally built around an old Army airstrip and is considered one of the premier endurance events in the United States; it’s famous for starting during the day and finishing in the dark of night. It has always attracted famous drivers from around the world, including: Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt, Juan Manuel Fangio, Phil Hill, Dan Gurney, Hurley Haywood and for many years Sebring was part of the World Sportscar Championship. …Read More »

Ford, Road Cars

We know, we know; the name of this site is “Two Seats or Less” and this Mustang is a 2+2. We’ll feature four-seaters from time to time; we don’t discriminate, we’re mostly interested in featuring quality, somewhat unique cars you can buy and enjoy.
The seller claims this Mustang is a 1965 but to us it sure looks like a 66. The difference has to do with the rear C pillar side windows and scoop vent right behind the doors; 65’s had louvers, 66’s have small windows and 66’s have the rear scoop, 65’s didn’t. Good news is that the changes are minor and all should be settled with a look at the VIN number. …Read More »
