If you’ve been looking for a fully prepped B Production vintage racer at a reasonable price, this Sunbeam may be a good option. At an asking price of $55,000 this Tiger is probably one of the most cost effective ways to get out and run with Shelby Mustangs and Cobras while not worrying quite as much about your wallet. This car has a long list of events it’s previously competed in, literally dozens of events on the West Coast from Thunderhill down to Coronado over the past 10 years. Importantly, the track was originally built around an old Army airstrip and is considered one of the premier endurance events in the United States; it’s famous for starting during the day and finishing in the dark of night. The seller claims this Mustang is a 1965 but to us it sure looks like a 66. The difference has to do with the rear C pillar side windows and scoop vent right behind the doors; 65’s had louvers, 66’s have small windows and 66’s have the rear scoop, 65’s didn’t.
