Kirkham Motorsports makes some of the best Shelby Cobra reproductions in the world. If you’ve never heard of them, AutoWeek did a great article on Kirkham in 1996. Two brothers, David and Thomas Kirkham started the company, building aluminum bodies to exacting duplication out of an old MiG factory in Poland. The story is worth a look even if you’ve already read it; to give you an idea of how intelligent, thorough and methodical the Kirkham’s are, David learned to speak Polish simply because he wanted to be able to speak directly to his workmen.
