What is that??? That’s what we imagine you’d hear while driving this De Tomaso Guarà. This is one of 2 (of the 40 made) in the U.S., from what we understand, so you’d likely never ’see yourself coming around a corner’ in one. The DeTomaso Pantera is an iconic mix of Italian styling and American power. For those of you who don’t know much about them, visit the Pantera International Homepage to add to your knowledge. The seller claims this car is a GT-5, which is a more limited version, if you get the build number you should be able to cross reference it with the QV500 GT-5 page here. We think it may not be a GT-5, simply because DeTomaso wasn’t producing GT-5’s in 1972 but perhaps there is a typo in the ad; we believe they started producing GTS’s in 1973. Here’s another low-miler for those of you who want something that’s been well preserved. The seller claims this car has covered just over 9,000 miles since 1970, not even 250 miles per year! The De Tomaso Mangusta is an Italian car, produced by Ghia in Modena, Italy (where Ferrari’s are made) and fitted with a Ford V8 engine.
