BMW, Road Cars

Here’s a solid and cool daily driver, in proper old school fashion. The BMW M6 was the creme de la creme of two door sport coupes in the late 80’s. They’ve aged quite well, almost anyone will tell you it’s still a fine looking automobile. This one is in Southern California where they’re asking $24,990. …Read More »

Road Cars, Triumph

This Triumph TR-6 is a bit of an odd mixture, it’s a British chassis fitted with a Japanese Spec R33 turbo motor/trans. So, you’ve got British open-top styling which we like, coupled with Japanese reliability (in theory)… could be a pretty cool driver. This Triumph is on EBay at $15,000 with 17 bids and Reserve Not Met. …Read More »

Hot Rod, Road Cars

The days of summer are calling and nothing is more suitable [in our dreams] than a hot rod with open pipes and an open top. We like ‘old school,’ we appreciate anything that once ran flat out on the salt flats and we love unique touches that pop out at you the more you look at an automobile. This former salt racer has all of the above and it’s on EBay for $20,000 with Reserve Not Met. …Read More »

Porsche, Race Cars

Racing driver Walter Brun formed Brun Motorsport in 1983; they went on to campaign numerous Porsche 956’s and 962’s with a large amount of success, including a World Sportscar Championship in 1986. In the later days of Brun Motorsport the company constructed 8 chassis and built their own 962’s, this car is the last one built, serial number 962-008. Prices of anything Porsche 962 are really on a climb these days, the seller is asking $350,000 but told us $330,000 would move it. …Read More »

Porsche, Road Cars

While Supercar Experience Palm Beach was great, we’re back to real life and that means something a bit more affordable. Porsche 914’s are nimble little cars and truly one of the best all-around entry level classics you can buy. This one has $13,000 in recent receipts but is currently listed on EBay in Hartford, CT for $4,000 with No Reserve! …Read More »

BMW, Road Cars

Yes, it’s ‘bimmer’ and not ‘beemer’ or ‘beamer.’ We don’t know why, all we know is that this 2002tii is really sweet looking. Plus, this is really the car that change the perception of BMW’s after WWII; it really formed a foundation for the car company we know today. A lot of history and a fantastic color combo for $29,500. …Read More »

Mazda, Road Cars

The Mazda RX7 was Motor Trend’s sports car of the year in 1993 with almost 300 hp, neutral balance, light weight Japanese technology. This is a prime example, as a one owner Arizona car with only 17K miles. Often with low mileage examples sellers ask over-market prices but this one is pretty reasonable at $22,900. …Read More »

Hot Rod, Road Cars

Practicality, who needs it? That’s what the SUV or the family sedan is for; this hot rod is for cruising. Out on the open road, opening up the pipes and blaaaaating down the highway will make just about anyone smile. Plus, doing it in true old-school hot rod style is an added bonus. For $35,000 we’d love to have this one in our garage. …Read More »

De Tomaso, Road Cars

What is that??? That’s what we imagine you’d hear while driving this De Tomaso Guarà. This is one of 2 (of the 40 made) in the U.S., from what we understand, so you’d likely never ’see yourself coming around a corner’ in one. It’s unusual and while the Italian stying isn’t for everyone, we really like that it doesn’t look like anything else. It’s currently on EBay at $100,000 with 0 bids and Reserve Not Met. …Read More »

Road Cars, TVR

This ‘66 Griffith is the type of car we love finding. Owned by the same fellow since 1967, it was raced at places like Watkins Glen as well as driven on the street. Cars like this one have a history, the tell a story and that’s a great part of car collecting and ownership. This Griffith is currently on EBay with Reserve Not Met at $52,100 and 38 bids. …Read More »
