This MG has a pretty interesting story. The current owner believes it was originally sold through Carroll Shelby and raced by him in 1951-52. He’s got some documents and photos of the car right after that period but nothing confirming 100% that Shelby actually raced it. If someone can come up with a document proving the history of this car we think it’d be worth significantly more than the $39,500 asking price.

Condition/History: Owner claims its very correct and original, was in Arkay collection in the early 70′s. Honestly it still looks race car museum quality

What’s to like: Love the white body and decals with black wheels. Looks very “period,” owner has a lot of documentation and pictures of the car being raced and rallied in the 50′s and 60′s

What’s to not like: If you pay up for this car you’re taking a chance it’s nothing more than a painted up MG TD. We’d do our research first!

Investment Outlook: Could be great potential appreciation if more history can be found

Where to find it: On EBay in Oakdale, NY
