Le Mans 24 Hour Finisher: 1995 Callaway Corvette
What can we say about this Le Mans finishing Callaway powered Corvette? Anything American that has finished at Le Mans (11th place overall, not too shabby) is enticing in our books. Was 1 of 3, the seller claims the other two cars no longer exist (we’d like to see some documentation), now perhaps 1 of 1. Originally driven by Rocky Agusta of the MV Agusta motorcycle family; asking $134,000.
Condition/History: Supposedly very original and well kept from when it ran at Le Mans in 1995 – official results here. Also ran at Paul Ricard, Monza, Silverstone, Donington and even Daytona in 1996! More history/pics
What’s to like: Can you say Callaway V8? Anything American that ran in anger and finished Le Mans is probably high on our ‘want’ list
What’s to not: Pricey to upkeep and run…
Investment Outlook: Priced on the upper end of the market but could have positive outlook long term
