Great Looking Italian Driver: 1975 Alfa Romeo Spider

Lots of neat looking Alfa’s for sale lately. Arguably an older Alfa is about as close as one can get to having a Ferrari, albeit at a fraction of the cost. On this particular car we love the covered headlights and the color-matched fiberglass bumpers, they honestly give it a shot at looking like a Prancing Horse to someone who doesn’t know. While not perfect, this Spider has been almost completely rebuilt, featuring a $6,000 Wes Ingram built engine, 4.56 LSD and upgraded suspension. Not bad for $9,500.
Condition: Great driver, track/autocross capable. Could use some interior and exterior cosmetics to make it a show car
What’s to like: It’s Italian, couth look, upgraded performance (engine, custom Bilstein suspension, Panasport wheels, rollbar)
What’s to dislike: It’s Italian, needs some TLC (soft top has holes at the joints, few paint dings, crack in dash)
Verdict: More fun and smiles than you can imagine for $9,500
