Team TwoSeatsOrLess is Participating in the Robin Hood Rally!

We are excited to announce we will be participating in a very unique event called the Robin Hood Rally. This is a World Rally Championship (WRC) style rally event, running takes place on ‘tarmac’ roads throughout the East Coast. The interesting kick is that the races will be on closed down public roads and filmed for a Reality TV series, to air this Fall! So, look forward to seeing us in some great racing in the near future, follow this link for the “sizzle real” video clip from the Rally.
The Robin Hood Rally will be 10 events, all on closed public roads, starting with the first one on May 21st and 22nd in Berlin, NH. From there, we’ll travel down the coast every few weeks for a new event. It will be a lot of work, a bunch of travelling and quite costly for us, but it’s a unique opportunity with some great prizes. Frank Markus from MotorTrend magazine will also be covering the Rally, the first article can be found here.
The car we’ll be running is a 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STi set up by Hudson Historics out of Ossining, NY. The guys at Hudson will be supporting us with their professional knowledge at each event ensuring the car is well prepared and ready to compete.
This weekend, Friday April 23rd, will be the first event of the Rally; a shakedown at Pocono Raceway, which will not count towards our overall standings in the event. We welcome all spectators, anyone who wants to attend this event is welcome, please send us an email at mail@twoseatsorless.com if you plan to attend.
We’re accepting sponsors as well, if you know who may be interested, it’s potentially GREAT exposure for relatively little investment, please contact us for more info. We’ll be adding a tab on our front page specific for the Rally and will update it as much as possible with pictures from the events. We’re under pretty strict confidentiality agreements, given the Reality TV aspect of the event, but we’ll post as much as we’re allowed.
More details to come, in the meantime we’re looking forward to a fun season of racing, we’d love to see any and all TSOL fans at the events!

Love the idea, love the weekend warrior element, love that it benefits local towns, but altruism? C’mon, guys… living out boyhood fantasies in an environment that may generate revenue for local bars and restaurants is NOT altruism. That said, I’m rooting big time for the Two Seats Or Less Brothers team and for this event to get the traction for high ratings and a long life. Good luck! bg

Thanks Betsy! We’re pleased that the Rally will benefit local towns and charities along the way and that was definitely part of the appeal to us. That said, we’re participating for two reasons: to have fun and to compete. We’ll leave truly selfless acts to some of our other, non-racing events! Ryan
