Found on the Streets of NYC: 1956 Ford Thunderbird Roadster

This ’56 T-bird is a very cool find, direct from the streets of the West Village in New York City; special thanks to reader Patrick R. for this submission! The mid 50′s Ford Thunderbird is one of the most iconic american sports/touring cars ever made, they’re unmistakable. This car is painted the proper turquoise that is synonymous with the T-bird of this era, lovely to look at. This bird may be a great find, it’s probably not advertised many other places, if at all: $37,000.
This car has some great options included, such as the additional factory fiberglass hardtop and correct Kelsey Hayes wheels. It’s got the “continental kit” which is the spare tire hanging off the back, we’ve always thought it looks a bit odd but it’s a valuable piece of kit. Added delights relative to this one include a full restoration on a matching numbers chassis and engine.
For more info, we don’t have any links to a more detailed ad, nor a email to contact the seller. However, please see the phone number in the photo below.

I saw this car today as well. Looked really nice. Great finish. The pictures is actually taken in Soho, not the West Village, but close enough
