exterior We haven’t found any cars that have piqued our interests the past few days but these trailers are a different story. Why? Well they are last years Brawn GP team trailers, purchased this year by the US Formula one team (USF1) in expectation of their first season. However, two weeks ago USF1 quietly closed its doors as funding ran low and they had yet to qualify for the series. So, these trailers never made it to the US, hence whey the Brawn GP logos are still intact and are being sold by the High Court after being seized. They are currently in the U.K. with bidding up to $38,000 and $45,000 for each trailer.

We’ve mostly posted these for fun as we don’t assume many readers are in the market for ex-Formula One trailers. That said it’s interesting to see what these things are like on the inside, a testament to how much money there is in F1. One trailer is for the equipment and the cars, the other seems to be more of a rolling office for use during the race weekends. Both are fitted with top quality furnishings including: Lista cabinets, 90Kva Webb Generators, tail lifts, compressors and air conditioning.

For more info and pics, see the ads on EBay in the UK, where they are being sold by the “Sheriffs Office” here and here.
