Great Event: Supercar Experience Palm Beach 2010

We’ve been away for a few days and haven’t been able to post. However, our excuse is that we were at Supercar Experience (SCE) Palm Beach, enjoying ourselves with some fantastic automobiles. This event is put on by John Temerian and Jan Otto and attracts people and cars from around the country. It is a must-see weekend if you like exotics and supercars.
The weekend starts out with an informal meet up at Palm Beach International Raceway (formerly known as Moroso). The track is virtually all brand new which means the surface is smooth and wide. The best thing about PBIR is they will rent the track at night. For SCE they rented the track from 6-11pm which we’d love to do with our own group during the summer. Here’s a video of the track event:
The next day, Saturday 2/27 was the big show, located on Flagler drive in West Palm Beach, Florida. While the weather wasn’t great, there was still a great turn out. Plenty of Audi R8′s, Porsche 911 Turbo’s, Ferrari 430′s and 360′s as well as Lamborghini’s and other similar cars. Even more surprisingly though were the true supercars that showed up like Preston Henn’s yellow Ferrari FXX and F50, a Ferrari 575M racecar and a Porsche Schuppan 962CR. We’ve attached some pictures below but for more galleries go here or here.
We’d recommend this event to almost anyone who wants to see unusual exotic cars. New for 2010, Supercar Experience is putting on events in both New Orleans this May and the Hamptons this fall. So, if you’re near to either of those place, take a stop by and check out some of the cars.
