We’ve featured a few E30 M3’s on the site before, mostly low mile garage queens. This E30 is much different in that it’s fully stripped, caged and ready to hit the track. It’s currently on EBay bid up to $16,100 with 5 bids. The seller has a reserve of $25,000 (which he claims is less than the cost of the motor) and is open to offers.

There is a lot to like about this M, especially the engine which is is a dry sump 2.5L S-14 with 9000rpm redline good for 280hp at the wheels. It’s mated to a Group N transmission, has Motec engine management and Penske remote reservoir shocks. All in all a lot of quality parts, which doesn’t necessarily mean they work together well, but in this case the seller claims it’s been fully sorted and is ready to go.

We’d love to bring this to BMWCCA events or even run it with NASA, SCCA or HSR. It’s pretty unusual but no doubt will garner some respect from your track mates. Find it on EBay in Atlanta, Georgia.
