The Mazda RX7 was Motor Trend’s sports car of the year in 1993 with almost 300 hp, neutral balance, light weight Japanese technology. This is a prime example, as a one owner Arizona car with only 17K miles. Often with low mileage examples sellers ask over-market prices but this one is pretty reasonable at $22,900.

Besides the low mileage, this RX7 has the R1 package which means it’s the more sporty version. This means things like stiffer suspension, no sunroof and cool suede interior. This car would be a great weekend cruiser or even a daily driver, for the next 200,000 miles or more. We’d look at this Mazda as a great opportunity to buy a relatively new car at a much discounted rate.
