2008 Viper ACR LF

January 24, 2010: This Viper ACR has been relisted by the same seller, with a lower asking price of $79,000. Looks like he’s ready to let this car go to a good home, for a very reasonable price here’s the new link.

January 20, 2010: If you’re looking for a weekend warrior you can drive to the track, abuse all day and drive home this Viper ACR may be for you. For the full specs on the 600hp ACR, check out this Motor Trend test drive. These cars sticker for around $100,000, with only 4700 miles the seller is asking $80,000 for this one (lowest price we’ve seen) and we think he’d make an even better deal for you to take it home.

Here’s a clip from Edmunds where they take an ACR from LA to the Bonneville Salt Flats. Remember, a car with huge tires will create a LOT of friction on the sale, hence the slow “top speed;” regardless we’d love to do a similar trip with this car:

For those of you not aware, the Viper ACR set a production car record at the Nürburgring at 7:22. Here’s the vid, notice the slick telemetry on the right showing active downforce:

Besides the very reasonable asking price, this seller has put some work into this Viper, including: dealer installed short shifter, stainless steel brake lines, Dodge/Mopar PCM and new Dodge 3:55 rear differential, four point harnesses and a 3M clear bra. He has all the original parts, which go with the car. This car has been for sale, from what we can tell, for about a month. We think the reason it hasn’t sold is that a lot of Viper guys don’t track their cars and they’re turned off because this one has done some track days. These cars are very reliable, plus it’s got a warranty so as long as things check out, we wouldn’t be turned off. Because it’s been for sale for a bit, we think the seller is willing to make a deal.

While its looks may not be for everyone, there’s no doubting this cars performance, making that huge rear wing justifiable. For more info, or to contact the seller, find the car for sale on the Viper Club and listed here
