Richard Petty’s Farewell Car: 1991 NASCAR Pontiac Road Racer

We aren’t big fans of NASCAR but we’d own this former Winston Cup Pontiac. We’ve always respected Richard Petty, if not for his humble roots and dedication to the sport of auto racing then for complete devotion to his fans. The seller claims this is the actual car The King used in his last two seasons; better still, it was a road racing (not “left-hander”) chassis used on road courses at Watkins Glen and Sears Point. For $85,000 you can own a real piece of history.
