2002 NSX Yellow LS NT

January 03, 2009: The seller, Craig D. from Florida has informed us that although he’s had some interested parties, he is lowering the price of the yellow NSX to $54,990. He is motivated to sell this car in the New Year! Email him at (craigd7808 [at] gmail.com).

December 14, 2009: If you’re looking to get looked-at, this is about as loud a factory color combo as you’ll find. In 2002, the Acura NSX was re-skinned and updated, given things like fixed headlights and a few outlandish color options. The guys over at NSX Prime claim production numbers in 2002 were a scant 236 manual cars. The owner thinks this is one of nine in the yellow/yellow/black combo; the serial number ends with 000009 so perhaps its the ninth off the production line, more digging is needed here. The car has 49K miles, is completely stock and the seller is asking $54,990 but is open to offers. Special thanks to reader Craig D. for asking us to post his car!

While this car is priced on the high side of the market, we like it because it’s all stock and the owner claims it’s in fantastic shape. It comes with the factory Bose stereo, ‘like-new’ embroidered NSX floor mats, NSX car cover and sport bag. ’02 NSX’s came only in “targa” configuration, they still have the all-aluminum 290hp V6, but the wheels, steering and suspension also have been upgraded for the model year.

We’ll take any chance we get to post about Ayrton Senna, so check out this vid of him driving an NSX-R at Suzuka racetrack. Shows how capable both he and the NSX are:

Any post-2002 NSX’s are rare; yellow ones, especially with yellow interior are even more rare. We’ve found another one for sale for less money, but it’s all buggered up with a body kit and different components that make it a turn-off. The verdict on this one is, yes it may be priced on the top end of the market, but if you’re looking for an all stock, yellow ’02 NSX, there are very few available; we think this is a great one.
