Eligible Everywhere: 1957 AC Aceca with FIA logbook

This 1957 AC Aceca is a find that’s met us with mixed emotions. It was for sale (from what we recall, 6-7 years ago) for $44,000 here, but we missed it then! We’ve often looked for this exact car to come back on the market and now it has, but the values of Aceca’s have climbed, now the seller is asking $119,000. We think it’s fairly priced, just a bit hard for us to pull the trigger right now.
This Aceca is one of only 84 produced and it is eligible for almost every event you can think of. Historic “A” racing, SVRA, HSR, HMSA, VSCCA, the La Carrera Panamericana, Copperstate 1000, California Mille, Colorado Grand, New England 1000, Monterey Historics, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Mille Miglia, Meadowbrook Concours, The Quail and a host of others events in both Europe and the US. Purchasing this car is like buying an invite to almost anywhere you’d like, in fact it’s already participated in quite a few of the aforementioned events.
Here’s a video the seller posted on his ad, you can see the car shows really well and appears to run cleanly:
For more info or to make an offer (and we hope you do), find the Aceca on EBay in Tiffin, Ohio.
