Great Color and Stripe Delete: Midnight Blue 2005 Ford GT – 3,100 miles

Ford GT’s are really bad@ss sports cars. We’ve loved them since before Ford officially launched the GT, especially given it’s pedigree. One thing that’s annoyed us however, is the fact that so many of the GT’s came from the factory with ’stripes.’ Historically, few original GT40’s where red/white, grey/grey or white/blue, but it seems like all the new GT’s are one of these combos. This particular car is Midnight Blue with the “stripe delete” option, a combo that makes it pretty rare. Given the color, and the fact that it has only 3,100 miles, this car is priced very fairly at $149,000. Don’t miss the video on the next page for more enticement.
As always, here’s a funny clip of Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear, testing the GT. He loves it, for good reason:
This car was previously owned by Rick Titus, automotive journalist and co-host of the familiar show Drivers Talk. So, you’d hope it has been well cared for, thankfully it looks to be. Honestly, besides the fact that this car looks to be in great shape, the most appealing thing to us is the color. We’ve always thought Ford GT’s look great in dark blue, only problem is finding a reasonably priced one without stripes. We’ve only seen one other Midnight Blue car without stripes, that wasn’t ridiculously priced, and it sold rather quickly. This car may be no different. Snatch it up quickly TSOL readers, at Elite Autos in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
