1987 Porsche Cab 70K RS

The 1987-1989 Porsche Carrera’s are arguably the most desirable 911’s to true Porsche enthusiasts. At this point in history, they were each hand-built, still air-cooled and in 87 Porsche switched to the reliable G-50 transmission for the last three years of production. Additionally, this particular car had a 280hp engine rebuild and new clutch installed at 57K, plus a bunch of other modifications, while keeping a stock appearance. We think this car is a great deal at $23,500.

Besides the low miles and fully rebuilt drive train, this car has other great features. We love the unique Diamond Blue factory paint, which the seller claims is all original, as well as the dark blue interior. Notice the factory top, rear shelf and especially the dash are all in excellent condition, which is very important because it tells that the car has been cared for. We like the upgraded 993 brakes under the 17″ Fuchs wheels, while overall the car appears very stock, the larger wheels give it a more aggressive appearance, to match its more aggressive soul.

Overall, given all the money the seller has put into this car, we think it’s a great deal. For a better description and a lot more pics, see the ad on Pelican Parts where this car is listed in St. Pete, FL.
