Peaches & Cream: 1948 Diamond T Hot Rod

This hot rodded ride is not what we’re typically into. However, it’s very unusual but still usable as a show cruiser or show-toter, and priced in bargain territory. The owner claims he’s got well over $50,000 in receipts for the parts alone; it’s offered on EBay with No Reserve, bid up to (and will sell at) $28,000.
The seller claims this truck’s body is all metal, no bondo and no fiberglass, exactly what we prefer. The running gear consists of a turbo’d 5.9L Cummins mated to a 4 speed Allison, providing 300hp at the tires, plus it’s got full air-ride suspension. While it’s build as a show vehicle, the owner says its still durable enough to tow 30,000lbs and will pass state inspection. Besides, the suicide doors fit this build perfectly and the Creamsicle-like paint is complemented really well with all that chrome. We’re sure this rig still has many People’s Choice awards in it at almost any cruise night or car show you’d show up to. Alternatively it’d make one boss tow vehicle for a vintage racer or show car, cigarette boat or Chris Craft show boat.
