Excellence Magazine Cover Car: 2006 Porsche Carrera S

We know, lots of Porsche’s lately, but this ’06 C2S was the April 2009 Excellence Magazine cover car! Besides that, the seller claims he’s got well over $100,000 in receipts, on top of the sticker price of $94,675. It’s a one owner, who’s straight forward that it’s been tracked but that wouldn’t bother us. He claims it’s “story-free,” making it even more appealling, especially since it’s priced in the $60′s.
The list of modifications and upgrades on this 911 are simply too long to list, the owner covers them very well in his ad. To give you an idea, the car has 28k miles but he had a brand new factory engine installed just 2k miles ago, which he claims is under warranty. The rest of the car has been upgraded accordingly with some of the best parts available including everything from a Quiafe LSD, Sachs LW Flywheel/Clutch, GMG exhaust, remote reservoir Moton’s, and many, many GT3 or better suspension parts. It’s been lightened with the replacement of many regular parts with carbon, both inside and out and has very light HRE wheels.
This car would be great for someone who plans to buy a fun street/track exotic or who would buy a 911 and put a bunch of money into it. Arguably, you won’t have to do anything to this car and you’d probably have the baddest 997 C2S in all the land. For more info, check out the seller’s excellent ad on Teamspeed, the car is located in Asheville, NC.
