If you’ve been looking for a fully prepped B Production vintage racer at a reasonable price, this Sunbeam may be a good option. At an asking price of $55,000 this Tiger is probably one of the most cost effective ways to get out and run with Shelby Mustangs and Cobras while not worrying quite as much about your wallet. This car has a long list of events it’s previously competed in, literally dozens of events on the West Coast from Thunderhill down to Coronado over the past 10 years. We often prefer a car that’s been driven and used, especially if the new owner plans to use it, as hopefully a lot of the bugs are already worked out.

This Tiger has more to offer than just a long list of previously run events. It’s got a great deal of documentation on transamcars.com (ownership history, a list of all the events it’s run, specifications, build history, etc), which we love to see. It started life as a street car and has only had 3 (California) owners in its 45 year long life. The British Racing Green finish sets it off nicely while the typical Ford 289 and 4 speed toploader set up keeps it Vintage legal and easy to work on.

We’d love to see this car continue to frequent events on the West Coast. For more info, you can find it on the Historic Motor Sports Association’s site, for sale by its owner, in Morgan Hill, California.
