Celebrating Ferrari’s win of the 2008 Formula 1 constructor’s world title the Scuderia Spider 16M is a special limited series of just 499 unique cars. If you haven’t heard of it, check out this MotorTrend article which gives a good write up of all the 16M’s stats. Basically, it is a lightened and hardened version of Ferrari’s 430 Spider, with over 500hp and Ferrari’s trick Superfast2 6 speed which can make shifts in 60 milliseconds (supposedly F1 cars do them in about 50 milliseconds!).

Here’s a low-quality video of a 16M running up the hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year. We wish the video quality was better but it still gives you a good idea of how capable this car is.

This particular car has 130 miles on it (!) and it’s Rosso Corsa with Tan leather and black “tech-fiber” inserts. Very few of these cars were equipped with leather, most have suede-like alcantara but we love the leather. It’s also got Scuderia painted calipers, the full leather interior package and the cool factory fire extinguisher.
