Screaming Deal: 2008 Corvette Z06, 170 miles from new

For those of you who don’t know much about the Z06 Corvette, it’s important to realize that it shares almost nothing with a regular C6 Corvette. It’s got a completely different all aluminum frame, carbon fiber blended floors and fenders as well as an all aluminum, 505hp, 427 cubic inch power plant with titanium rods, set in a magnesium frame. The Z06 is much more purposefully built and lighter than a regular C6 and it has to be, to go 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. It’s designed with stiffer suspension, bigger wheels/tires, larger brakes with cooling ducts, a dry sump oil system and different rear end. All of this plus the Z06 gets 26+ MPG on the highway, this is truly one of GM’s most advanced cars.

The majority of the appeal in this car comes from the fact that it’s a 2008 with only 170 miles on it with an asking price of $50,000. While we haven’t seen the window sticker, it’s likely over $80K, meaning you save about $30K on a car that’s virtually new. The owner tells us it’s completely factor-new, never been hit, no stories what so ever. The only downside for this Z06 is that it doesn’t have all the options (no NAV, chrome wheels, etc) but if you’re just looking for a great deal on a Z06, this is your car. Additionally, if you’re buying this car to drive, GM will allow you to up the warrantee, sometimes for an additional 7 years!
